Being a bad dancer is a victimless crime. Throw your body around to whatever off-beats you like. As enthusiastically as you like. It don't matter.

But be a bad drummer, and that's a different story. You can throw off a whole drum circle by over-zealous off-beat drumming. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the enthusiasm…but we can't all be soloists all the time.
